How to disable "cornering too fast" alarm on 2001 Audi A4?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Audi A4 Avant which I bought used.  It has some kind of lateral sensor (accelerometer?) that sounds an alarm when it thinks I'm cornering "too fast".  Trouble is that I commute 30 miles each way between home and work every day, along a very twisty mountain road, and if I go faster than a crawl, I hear three loud "BEEP" alarms in a row every few seconds.  Is there any way to disable this?

Well, in lieu of anyone being able to answer my question, I took the nuclear option. I pulled out my instrument panel, found the speaker for the alarm, and severed the wires to it. No more alarm. Also, no more headlights left on warning, or any of the other things that I would like to have been able to retain, but so it goes.
