2001 Audi Quattro won't start PLEASE HELP

Ok so I bought a 2001 Audi Quattro a4 and it was
having problems with the alternator so I replaced it.
Well now it won't start at all. Even put a new battery
in. I did the security code and all that good stuff and
now it won't crank or nothing. Before it did run. So I
know the car does run. Does anyone know what
could be the problem? Or what I can do to get it
running?? I'm really needing this car to run. Oh I
know the battery works, all lights and radio and
dash lights come on. Also if this helps now the dash
in the middle is kind of scattered. It has a bunch of
red dots on the screen where it looks like it's not
coming in all the way.

Try taking battery off for 5-15 mins then locate ur ignition or engine timing fuse in the fuse box located in the car driver side should be yellow color 20 amp fuse N check if it blew up... Im 95% it did remove n swap out same amp fuse yellow 20 no more no less.... Now the trick is not to blow this 1 up so what u have to do is put new fuse in,insert car key in turn to on then connect car battery back then give it a try... Lmk

I know this is 4 years later haha but I’m having the exact same problem right now! If you figured out what the problem is please let me know. I replaced my battery and alternator and the fuse and still nothing. I don’t know what to do at this point
