Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Where are the side impact sensors located

1 Answer

41,805

In the front end of vehicle if you look or search the electrical harness you can located them NOT meant to be bothered! somewhat like a ball bearing switch that requires a HIT at approx 30 degrees from head on to fire the system and they are also connected to capacitors which can fire up the system WITHOUT the BATTERY. Guys using power probes sometimes detonate them accidentally BIG mess.Regards
