Audi A4 3.0 Engine light is on

Hello I've been to the mechanic seven times
already replaced the spark plugs the coils
and a vacuum to recently had a complete
tuneup including timing kit. But the engine
light keeps coming on and it's saying misfire
for four and five they don't seem to figure it
out can anyone help? Thanks

where did you have the timing belt done? If it was not a vw/audi specialist shop or the dealer im willing to bet they probably got the cam sensor miss aligned.

Hello, thanks for replying! Your right it wasn't a dealer but they specialize in Audi and BMW. I brought in for the same thing misfire 4 & 5 and paid over 1800 dollars of work so far and same codes;-(

I wenr to the dealer today and they told me I need to reprogram the computer after the spark and coil change.... Is that right? They said 170.00

i myself have never heard of having to reprogram a computer for changing the coils or spark plugs... if this were the case every one would have to do it.. Some guy had some sort of the same issue. he made a quick fix by splicing but i would suggest checking out these vacum lines he is pointing out and repair it properly. Also i believe he changed the crank case hoses which commonly get clogged https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zc3_SBW9daQ
