Would 315/75/16 fit on my stock 2003 gmc serria
ext cab. I'm running 265/75/16

Those tires would be 2" wider and about 1 1/2" taller. Check and see it they will fit in your wheel wells. 2" wider on your stock wheels may not work very well though.

You might be able to install those tires on your stock wheels but they will look strange and they may wear funny.
