Trucks ability to safely haul two horse trailer with one horse

Question type: General

I have a 1999 gmc step up short bed truck
I want to pull a two horse trailer with one
horse...

Plan on trailer brakes...weight distribution
bars and if needed air bags

Just want some opinions on safety and
wear and tear on truck...

Plan on short distance maybe twice a
week

I don't see any problem at all. I doubt your trailer and horse will max out your truck but do you know what it will weigh?
