hi i have a 98 gmc sierra k1500 350 5.7lL i curently just rebiult the bottom end of the motor including a new crank yesterday was the first test drive it started up drove it around and then let it sit and idle for a littlw while and the it stalled on me and the would not turn back over any ideas on what this could be ?

Did you plasti-gauge the crank to bearing clearances? Take a breaker bar and socket and try to turn the engine via the crankshaft balancer bolt to see if it is seized up.
