not getting fuel can not hear fuel pump com on,noticed fuel gauge does not come down
when key is turned off. i replaced the fuel relay
did not help. could this be electrical problem or bad fuel pump?

Did you check the fuse for the relay, if it's good than it's probably the pump

1998 gmc k1500 5.7L. one of the inserts on the connector for the fuel pump is not getting juice to it. according to a wiring diagram it is the gray pump power wire. there are 4 ports in the connector....
