Fuel pump won't work unless you jump pin 30 and pin 87 in the relay

Asked by Jul 12, 2017 at 08:57 PM about the 1997 GMC Sierra 1500 C1500 SL Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok I have a 1997 gmc pick up that just
stop sending fuel to the engine, changed
the fuel pump and that wasn't the problem,
clean and fixed the ground to the pump it's
not the problem, checked all fuses, all
good except the fuel relay. All pins in fuel
relay work except pin 85 which is the PCM,
now my question is how do I get this
fixed? Do I have to buy a new power
control  module or is there a way to test it
or fix it? Now keep in mind the truck will
start if I jump pin 30 and pin 87 and stray
ether into it.
