Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a few questions bout fixing it up first i have a problem with the interior passenger door handle not working so i was wondering if someone could help me out by giving me some ideas what might be wrong and telling me how to take off the door panel and my second questions is that i am wondering how hard it may be to replace the ac tubes and wither i should have someone else do it or do it myself and last is i am looking to remove my carpet in it cause of how nasty it is so i was wondering if it would it would look bad if i herculine it or should i just get new carpet for it?

door handle- probably the linkage inside broken, not too hard to pull the door apart, look for a long rod not attached to anything, that will likely be the culprit. ac tubes- don't do this yourself unless you are sure the system is empty, if you leak out the refrigerant you could be into BIG fines, or injuries, no problem though if you are sure it is empty carpet- great idea, it will look and work fine, just clean the floor really good, and put in some nice mats
