I want to convert my truck to diesel

Long term project still thinking about everything but would
engines would work best I'm looking to make it an off road
vehicle

You would be better off buying a diesel truck to do what you want. Conversion from a gas to diesel is very labor and $ intensive. There are so many differences you'll wonder why you even tried.
