not sure if your carb his this but there is a spring activated CHOKE and a "heat-riser" to make sure that it goes on...assuming a Carburetted model...not quite certain of the fuel injected models but would predict that this goodie is not working anymore~

Fuel pressure should be 9 to 13 lbs. Also the regulator in the TBI may need to be rebuilt, the spring gets weak.

I have a 1994 gmc z71 with the 5.7 engine. When the truck gets to normal operating temp it loads up and stalls at low rpm's. The only way it will restart is holding the gas pedal to the floor. 2 Answers

I have a 1989 350 5.7 TbI and I have a 96 GMC 1500 with a 305 5.0L Vortec with over 250,000 miles can I use the the heads from the Votec 305 5.0L on the 350 5.7L TBI?
