Hello, I have a 1993 GMC Sierra 1500 5.7 v8. only in cool to cold temps the eng. acts like it wants to choke out and die.

After it warms up it runs better but acts up at times. in the summer or temps 60 degrees or higher it runs great. I have changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, cap and rotor. any ideas why this only happens in cooler weather? Thanks Devon

1989 gmc 5.7 liter replaced engine with slightly used rebuilt engine from a junk yard .i used my distirbuter coil and carb .i'm getting spark and fuel cheched timing several times only back fires i tried starter fluid went to start it back fired but this time it blew the valvue covers out 1 Answer

1996 GMC Sierra club cab 4x4 just quit running when , I was driving it . Sounds rough when runs does not smoke. Was full of oil and transmition fluid, hard to tell where the sodd sound is coming from. Please help, do not have a lot of money! 1 Answer
