no spark

I have a 1990 Ford probe lx, it ran fine and then I
replaced the alternator and it quit running after
that, it turns over but has no spark, I can hear the
fuel pump but it will not start, can anyone help

I don't think any of the fuses under the fuse box in the hood are burned, last time which was yesterday the only one that was burned was retra (the headlight retractor)
