Asked by rkgonezo Jan 11, 2017 at 04:43 PM about the 1991 GMC Sierra 1500 K1500 4WD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Cranks for about 4-5 seconds then starts. after the first start it fires right up.
Already replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, and and TBI injectors. What else could
it be?
Thanks,

First, check the spark to see what it looks like, it should be white in color, not a orange color. Next check the fuel pressure. It may be the spring if the fuel regulator is weak, and so you may need a TBI rebuild kit, or if you can find a regulator kit, I think I've seen those.
