Ignition module location please

I have plain 1990 escort with the 1.9 (not a GT) does anyone know where the ignition module is located under the hood ?

if you have a distributor,is under cap.black box.if not is under coil pac.

i dont know if you have found the ingition module yet but from what i can see on the pic its the last of the mk4's so u will have a distributor. the distributor cap witch should have 2 or 3 clips holding it in place an its norm red/black when you remove this you should see the rotore arm (ignition module) this will just pull off and can only fit one way. it only cost a few £'s (uk) to bye a replacement and is easy to fit. Also DONT pull off the ht leads from the distributor cap unless you know witch order they go back on as if you fit them the wrong way the car will not run. It is also a good ider to replace the distributor cap if the points look worn or if the cap has a crack in it. If you do replace the distributor cap my best tip is to make shour you have the cap the right way up and swap the ht leads one at a time. hope i have helped
