2004 Envoy head lights stay on without key or come on in garage and drain battery

Asked by mdkolling May 06, 2015 at 11:30 AM about the 2004 GMC Envoy XUV 4 Dr SLT 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Went out to close garage for the night and headlights were on.  Inserted key turnes on
ignition,reset light switch, flipped hi/low beam  and they finally turned off when I remove
key.  Is there a relay other than the 45/46 relay that controls the auto head light
function.  if so number in fuse box and part number if you know it. The dash sensor is
not blocked.

Don't know if that has anything to do with it or not..but 45 is cooling fan
