Won't start

Asked by rjwrose Sep 11, 2011 at 06:18 PM about the 1995 Dodge RAM Van 2500 Extended Cargo RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the morning the van will crank over but the check engine light will not come
on.  After Minutes of keeping the key in the run position I hear the shutoff relay
and the fuel pump relay chattering.  When the chattering stops the check engine
light comes on and the van will start.  I have voltage to the relays just no ground
which comes from the PCM.  The cooler it is the longer it take for the relays to
activate.  I am desperate to get this resolved but don't want to replace the PCM if it
is not the problem.  Please help.
