2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SE 3.3 V6 gas motor - where would a 1 5/8" freeze plug pop out from and land on ground under car?

I had a leak, which I assumed was from the radiator due to a lot of highway
driving and seeing a leak under the front of the radiator. I could not pinpoint
any hose leaks and wanted to try to rule out a head gasket leak. I filled the
radiator with water and a stop leak compound, and ran it for the
recommended time, and did not lose any water. I unfortunately did not put
the car in the garage and the water froze over the weekend and a freeze
plug popped. Is there a plug that is 1 5/8" diameter from the back of the
block? I have seen diagrams that show most of them inside the bell
housing. If it ended up on the ground, where did it pop out from? I'm taking
it to the shop but want to be informed as much as possible. Please help!

FYI to Antoine that has an 05 Grand Caravan - if you're losing coolant it's likely the water pump. After having it replaced, the rear cabin heater lines failed once the car was run totally pressurized for a couple days. I bypassed the rear heating lines and doubt I'll ever care. Now it's back up and running well, after replacing the freeze plug, water pump, lower inlet hose, and the rear heating lines bypass. Hope this helps someone...
