can,t start my van

Asked by vincenzocubs Oct 22, 2016 at 03:32 PM about the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SE FWD

my dodge grand caravan is in park position but it says reverse. shift down one
and still is in reverse. shift down again should be neutral stays at reverse. shift
down again and goes inti 3rd gear shift down goes into second gear. my van
won't start cause it won't read park or neutral when its in that gear.

That signal most likely comes from the transmission range sensor.. check that sensor.. YouTube it
