FFV - Flex Fuel Vehicle - Takes more than one type of fuel MFI - Mechanical Fuel Injection - Not a carburetor engine, it's fuel injected SFI - Sequential Fuel Injection - A sequential fuel injection is a type of multi-port fuel injection system in which each injection valve will open just before the cylinder intake valve opens. So in essence, the individual injectors work by themselves because they are fired individually. OHV - Over Head Valves - If your engine is an OHV then your have one cam internally. You also have OHC and DOHC which stands for over head cam and dual over head cams. this means, as the name implies, the cams are over head. OHV is a push-rod engine. Credit to http://google.com
