what would cause hard left turns in a 99 dodge grand caravan?

I am having problems turning left.  It gets tight and stiff.  ocassionally this also happens on the right turns as well.  What is causing my problem

Depending on ur suspension its probably time for new struts or springs.

Power steering fluid? (I'm pretty sure that dodge is old enough it doesn't have all that electric assist stuff, someone correct me if I'm wrong...) Have you checked the fluid level? if it is a fluid system, maybe your power steering pump is starting to fail?
