what is the problem if my gear shift slow, not going as fast as the speedometer reads, and takes a while for me to gain speed?

i have a 92 ford taurus and it is fairly slower to take off then it usually is, it
takes forever to get up to speed and doesnt feel like its at the speed that it
reads its at and changes gears slow as well, all my fluid levels are good i just
got a oil change and as well a fuel pump installed but still not sure wat the
problem is, i could use some quality help
