update there were no ground wires across the front end that i could find. followed the harness from rf headlamp til it got behind the lf head lamp no grounds anywhere got under the hood found the same harness and followed it to a place where a bunch of ground wires are located they all share the same nut/bolt combo in the fender i noticed that a couple wires had housing rubbed off. i checked them for breakage and repaired them (no help) followed harness to fuse block and i find that all the relays for the individual systems that are effected are operational ie . i can hear and feel the horn relay click when i honk the horn and no broken wires under the the block either.. so confused.. car runs like a champ just these annoying things i cant figure out

Check the IPCM,or Chrysler has a different name I think it's called IPDM, INTEGRATED POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE, IT'S ON THE DRIVER SIDE UP AGAINST THE FIREWALL BELOW THE FUSES, A LOT OF TIMES HALF THE CAR WILL LIGHT UP OR GET POWER IN THE OTHER HALF WON'T AND PEOPLE ARE REPLACING BULBS FUSES IT'S ACTUALLY THE BOARD THE FUSES PLUG INTO YOU CAN GET ONE AT A JUNKYARD AS LONG AS IT'S THE SAME YEAR AND SAME OPTIONS AS YOUR PT CRUISER THEY ALMOST ALL INTERCHANGE. I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON PT CRUISERS AS MY SPECIALTY CAR AND AM ALSO ASE-CERTIFIED SO IF YOU HAVE NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM YET THAT IS A DIRECTION YOU MIGHT WANT TO ENTERTAIN. purplehondacbr1000rr@gmail.com
