AC/Clutch, no relay

Asked by May 16, 2018 at 07:44 PM about the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Base Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Since theirs isn't any a/c clutch relay fuses. Can you still engage the clutch
by using the two wires coming from the compressor itself? Im hearing the
clicking noise every time i turn on the a/c button, but the clutch doesn't seem
to push the pulley wheel out. Also if I'm hearing that clicking noise each time
I turn the air on, can I still put coolant in, even though I dont think the clutch
has engaged?
