Serpentine belt repair needed after timing belt replaced

Asked by markepstein10 Aug 10, 2013 at 02:38 PM about the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wife had a timing belt replaced on her 2005 PT Cruiser. The day after the serpentine belt started to squeal when the car first starts up. Is there a connection? The garage is telling her it may cost another $200.
