possible cause for a po300 code

Asked by Wayne Jul 19, 2019 at 10:06 AM about the 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm getting  a po 300 code (random miss fire). The car lacks power going up
hills and when first  starting driving. It also surges  but seems to straighten  out
once a speed of 60 to 65 mph. sometimes  it seems as if the vehicle  is stuck in
low gear and don't want to shift.
