Can I swap turbo engine for non turbo engine

You can put any engine available for that vehicle, but you will most likely have to either replace or reprogram the PCM/ECU (computer) as the one currently in your car is for your current powertrain set up.

I understand that what else should be swapped out of the 05 turbo car to make it work in the 07 non turbo car? Transmission going to be ok in the 07 w the turbo 05 motor? I need to know everything that will be needed from the 05

I have a 2005 PT Cruser with a non turbocharged 2.4L motor I want to put a 2.4L turbo motor in this car i know the ecu has to be reset for the turbo motor but else would i have to do to fit the motor in if anyone could help me I would much appreciate it as I have never worked on one of theses cars before

The trouble and expense is so not worth it. Buy a turbo car!

Turbo and non turbo pt cruiser will not interchange without swapping out ecm, ignition switch , and instrument panel plus wiring harness
