2003 PT Cruiser Overheats

Asked by Suzy May 15, 2017 at 05:33 PM about the 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Cruiser over heats when climbing hills.  I replaced the radiator cap, thermostat and the radiator plugs. I hear the fan when the car is turned off. What else could it be.

1 Answer

Your radiator may be dirty. I would flush the cooling system and install new anti-freeze and hoses. A worn out water pump is also a possibility.
