Hi! I have put two starters and new battery in 2002 pt cruiser and there are still
times it wont start. Ive tied pounding on starter with hammer, sometimes it

this issue and what did you do? Mechanics at two different dealer shops cant
figure it out, one being Chrysler!lol

You may have a defective flywheel ring gear or a defective mechanic If I were you I would find a mechanic who knows how to do more than change parts

Simple. It's just a bad starter if hitting it helps then the starter is done good and dead just replace it
