Overheating

Asked by bamagirl81 Mar 31, 2017 at 06:48 PM about the 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I Have replaced thermostat with the
failsafe.Replaced my fan and sensor.
My car will overheat then go back
down to normal. Water boils. Craziest
thing. Please help.

Have you purged the air out of the cooling system? Put anti-freeze 50/50 with water in it rather than plain water?
