02 pt cruiser will not start.

Asked by 03FustratedCruiser Oct 12, 2014 at 11:42 AM about the 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon FWD

swapped out timing belt due to broken timing belt tensioner, replaced spark plugs, wiring
and coil pack, set timing , car turns over nicely but will not start, sprayed starter fluid in
intake, small back fire. but still no start..... any thoughts?
