Starts sometimes

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 PT Cruiser. The car died after turning into the driveway.  Engine code read P0725.  Changed the input speed sensor.  The car will start sometimes after it sits for several hours but won't stay running. It doesn't start all the time even if it's been sitting.  Is their a fuel shut off switch anywhere?  Is this fuel pump in the tank?  Is there a fuel pressure valuve for checking for fuel pressure?  I've looked maybe just blind.  It really feels like it's not getting any fuel.  Any help will be appreciated.  Thanks Waszie
