If you're certain it's the hose making the noise, it might be caused by partially collapsing or sucking air. Go through your cooling system and check the basics - bad or stuck thermostat, bad radiator cap, collapsed hoses, air in the system. It can take persistence to get all the trapped air out of a cooling system.
