1995 chrysler lebaron convertibles

i was told i need a gear shift assembly for a 3 speed on my 1995 chrysler lebaron. all i
can find is a 4 speed any where. did they even make 3 speeds in 1995 do i really need a 4
speed. how can i tell which one i need

that's it i'm firing my mechanic LOL i told him it was a 4 speed, thank you so much for proving me right
