Looking at purchasing a 2006 Prius with less than 65K miles.

Asked by Richard May 04, 2018 at 09:44 PM about the 2006 Toyota Prius FWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

The price is right, it's about 7,300 or so. The biggest concern I have is the
battery life. I know some people have them on their first battery at over 200,000
miles, but I am concerned with the age of the battery here. Any advice?

You are correct to be concerned. Exclusively Hybrid replaces Hybrid batteries for these cars. The lowest miles I have seen is 42k. If the car was used regularly, just not driven long distance, you may be OK. The price for replacement battery ranges from $890 all the way to $3500 from Toyota dealer. We have a rebuild battery and a battery with brand new cells. If you have anymore questions please contact us at 561 299 0609 or through our website at www.ExclusivelyHybrid.com
