can anyone help i have a audi rs6 2003 c5 avant i bought from a garage i had it 2 weeks and there was a noise out of the gearbox this got taken out and renewed by the garage then when i had it back i started hearing a wine thought nothing of it then 4 months later the front end locked up and would not move in neutral drive or reverse this sound like box trouble again any recommendations thanks seb

Whining sound leading up to the front end locking up makes me think there wasn't oil in the gearbox. The whine is bearings starved for oil first.
