Why won’t my car start

Asked by Cjp200176 May 22, 2020 at 10:00 PM about the 2005 Ford Taurus SEL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 ford Taurus won’t start I replaced the
starter and got it running and it was running
rough like a mis Fire so I went to NAPA to get
spark plugs and turned the key off and the
engine stayed running with the dash lights
and everything off so I called my brother (a
Ford tech) and he told me to disconnect the
battery and it didn’t shut down I pulled the
fuel pump relay and fuse and it kept running
so he told me to pull the main power fuse to
the pcm and it shut down I then put
everything back together and it won’t start
now anyone know what I can do

1 Answer

I would have him fix it but yes a good 4 hours away in Virginia I was wondering if there was any solutions anyone knew
