Starting Issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Ford Taurus..Here recently I
have been having to jump the car to start, to
which it WILL start on a jump.. Sometimes
on it's own a time or two before having to
jump it again..At least at first..At times when
it's not turning over, and I shut the key off, I
hear what sounds to me like rapid
clicking..And sometimes all indicator lights
will be on. The car has a new battery and will
start on a jump..And ideas on where or what
to check?

Should probably have the starter checked out, make sure the cables are in good shape and clean connections. If you had ben running with the new battery for awhile and now you have this problem again, then there is a problem with the charging system. Possible bad alternator.
