Question type: General

having transmission "resealed" today due to a transmission leak.  Shop called and said they found that the acceleration cable was broken while working on the transmission.   If it was broken wouldn't my accelerator pedal not work??

Ask to see the original cable before they replace it. You should be able to tell if it was broken from wear or if they pinched it or something and caused it themselves.
