2006 Ford 500

Friend's car has been parked for a few months. She
said she started it last night, charging light came
on and steering wheel locked up? I'm not in the
same state as here just trying to get her in the right
direction. Anybody got any ideas of what's wrong
besides a battery and alternator?

Without key in ignition turn steering wheel to where it actually can move a bit then insert key in ignition and try to start car.
