Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i think it is a bad sensor at the front of the throttle body. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. (Besides ditching my car and buying a Gm pos.)

did you play with the carburetor? you can adjust idle speed by playing with it

just adjust the nut on the back of the throttle cable on top of the carburetor until you get it right. they do not have TPS sensor's so that would not be a problem. chevy FTW

They didn't have carbs in '93 to my knowledge, these were throttle body jobs. The TPS is known to get sticky as it gets older and a $30 sensor should fix you right up. 2 screws and a wiring plug and you'll have it replaced.
