4X4 High Works, however 4X4 Auto or 4X4 Low doesn't.

my moms car has the ability to switch to 4X4 High on her 01 explorer, however
you cannot switch to low or auto no matter what you do. We have no clue what
it might be, the transmission was replaced, so we think something may not
have been hooked up properly. If you need any more info or pictures lemme
know.

Are you using the proper procedure to engage 4WD low? You must put the transmission in neutral and be at a full stop to engage 4WD low. If you are doing that there might be a problem with the actuator.

Yeah, switching to neutral didn't help. Still only stuck on 4X4 high and I cannot switch to auto or low in neutral or park at all.
