I have a 2002 ford explorer with factory alarm. The remote broke and now I can't turn on the car. How do I disarm the alarm without a remote?

Factory alarm to a a Ford explorer. Alarm remote button broke and now I can't turn on the
car. How can I deactivate the alarm so the car can turn on while I buy another alarm
system or get another remote.

There are many auto stores and hardware stores that sell remotes. Instructions are contained in the package. My son lost his last remote for his 2003 explorer. Reprogramming took about four minutes and he was on his way.
