have 2002 explorer, had broke the shifer off and replace the steering column keys are coded with that ignition and not program with car... how do I program new keys as there are coded ones and the car only knows the last keys to start it, all lights come on and gages work, hit the ignition and no starter

You need a mobile locksmith with the proper electronic device to program the new key. I've changed a few worn out ignitions and that is the only way to do it.

You can also replace the ignition switch from the new steering column with the original one and it should fire right up.
