why does Expedition die at idle?

Asked by Guru2F6YW Mar 05, 2020 at 06:19 PM about the 2004 Ford Expedition XLS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Ford Expedition. It will die at idle unless I give it gas it keep it above 1000rpm. We changed the IAC but it didn't fix the issue. What else could it be.

There's the IAC valve itself, then there is the IAC circuit, make sure your circuit is also working. Also check for any vacuum leaks on or with the intake/throttle body.
