I have a 2002 Escape and when my ABS light comes on the headlights flare really bright and the power windows stop working the guages either will drop to 0 or will jump up to the maximum.

When ABS light comes on the headlights flare really bright and the power windows stop
working.Sometimes the gages will drop down to 0 and then jump to maximum. I have
change the alternator and a light relay. Recently I had three recalls repaired what is the
problem with this car?

Tighten and clean all battery connections. Also tighten and clean the negative battery connections on the frame and motor. Loose connections could causes issues like you are having.

a bad abs sensor can cause all those issues. my headlights would dim get bright and some other crazy sounds. hope this helps
