I have an 2002 Ford Escape and it is pulling the
battery down. I've had the battery replaced, the
alternator replaced, as well as the spark plugs. It
can have the battery charged and it work for a day
to a couple of days and it'll die again. I have friends
and old family mechanics telling me to replace
some relay switch or system relay? Because it
needs to be done after an alternator change. I've
asked parts stores and even other mechanics and
they all don't know what I'm talking about. Does
anyone know what this is or what I should do?

I'm truly not very familiar with cars. How would I go about doing that? What kind of equipment would I need to check the wiring?

Mine does that too!! I have to either drive it every day or unhook the battery. It will also lock the rear hatch do that I can't get into it. I was told a wiring problem or bad fuse. Had the fuses tested and the only bad one also controlled the engine ignition.
