Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I tried starting my 1993 Ranger I hear one click and
I have full power on the dash lights and all. It only
clicks once and it’s coming from the starter
solenoid on the divers fender. I have replaced but
still same problem.
I’m going crazy chasing this issue

Have you measured the voltage at the battery terminals? Have you had the battery tested? Have you inspected and cleaned the battery terminals and the connections to the solenoid and starter? Is the engine locked up?

If you purchased an aftermarket solenoid it may be the problem. Genuine Ford solenoids are best when available.
