Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 06 crown Victoria is studdering a bit no check
engine lights on. I had a misfire problem before
changed those coils n plugs out no more engine
light but now its making a studdering sound car
feels jumpy. If that makes sense. Please any info is
needed. Don't have much money to repair so trying
on my own.

I was told it could be the pig tails that are on my coils cause the clamps are broke and that its misfiring could that be possible .. And thanks for the response ..

There could be a hundred reasons for it sputtering, but without a thorough mechanical inspection by those of us trying to answer questions we can only offer generic suggestions to help - I usually like to offer the cheapest, simplest, and easiest solutions first, then proceed from there is problem persists. In your case, if problem originated with plugs/wires or coil packs, and those were replaced, it should be on the mechanic or person who replaced them to inspect the area and make sure there weren't additional trouble spots. Pigtails aka Modular Ignition Coil Connectors are a cheap and fairly easy part to replace, you can get em on Amazon or Ebay for around $15 for a pack of 8, if yours looks even a little brittle or hinky, by all means replace them.
